For well over a decade, Mark has provided legal representation and sage, practical advice to business entities and individuals on a full range of corporate, real estate, business and other commercial matters.

In his corporate practice, Mark provides advice with regard to entity formation, business start-ups, structuring stock and similar equity plans, employment agreements, exit planning, commercial contracting, licensing, mergers and acquisitions, lending, secured transactions, and capital and debt formation and structuring, whether through the private placement of securities, venture capital or private equity. In the role of outside general legal counsel, Mark also acts as a trusted advisor to decision-makers on the full range of legal and strategic issues facing businesses, both large and small.

In his real estate practice, Mark handles acquisitions and dispositions of commercial, multi-family and residential properties, leasing transactions, easements and licenses, title examination, lending transactions, real property development (residential, commercial, office, retail and warehousing), construction and architectural agreements, landlord/tenant disputes, and complex transactions, such as sale-leasebacks and synthetic leases.

Mark also provides legal advice and negotiates the purchase of interests in private equity firms by institutional investors, businesses and individuals.  Whether the investment is in the thousands or the millions, Mark will negotiate and protect your rights as an investor.

Mark also advises clients in the Oil & Gas arena with regard to oil, gas and other mineral estates, oil & gas and similar leasing arrangements, participation in joint operating agreements, master service and similar provider agreements, surface use agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mark is an avid volleyball player, snowboarder, runner and road bicyclist.

Mark graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Colorado with degrees in English Writing and Communication & Theatre.  Mark attended law school at the College of William & Mary School of Law in Virginia, where he served on the Law Review for the College of William & Mary School of Law and graduated Order of the Coif.  Mark also served for 4 years on active duty in the U.S. Army as a Russian linguist.
